Technical retard
My first actual piece of digital work. I designed this in illustrator and repeated the image to make a pattern. I am interested in pattern and surface design as my work has always had a pattern and repetitive quality. This political and editorial illustration mush doesn't really do anything for me.

Sewing Buildings
A previous brief was called 'Sense of Place' I chose to illustrate deralict pubs and warehouses in Digbeth to show the atmosphere of the run down area using line and colour tequniques. Don McCullin Exhibition - Victoria Art Gallery, Bath - 'Shaped by War'.
Last week while in Bath I saw Don McCullin's 'Shaped by War' exhibition. The black and white images provoke so much emotion and everyone there was clearly touched. His photographs definitely shape awareness of modern conflict and the added personal memorabilia and audio guides with McCullin's commentaries really bring the work to life.
It's on until until the 21st November 2010 so if you're passing you should probably go and check it out.
